Who We Are
Waypoint Development, LLC was established by Jarrett R. Woods to provide multifamily development expertise to clients across the United States. Since 2005, Mr. Woods has focused almost entirely on all aspects of multifamily development — including land acquisition, planning, zoning, financing, construction, and lease-up. Over that time, he has developed nearly 2,800 units of multifamily apartment housing.
He began his career as an analyst for a single-family lot development company, playing a key role in assembling lot development deals for over 1,500 single-family lots across more than 20 subdivisions. He also served as property manager for a 14-story office building in Dallas' central business district before transitioning his focus entirely to multifamily.
Today, Waypoint specializes in HUD 221(d)(4) financed garden-style and mid-rise apartment communities across the Sun Belt and Southeast, with a particular focus on markets in Texas, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
